Snorkeling with Turtles
Are you ready to meet the cute friends floating in the sea of Mirissa?
A relaxed, family-friendly snorkel out to a turtle feeding site just off Mirissa. Life jackets mean even non-swimmers can join safely, and our guide keeps a respectful distance so you can watch these gentle animals without disturbing them.
Tour Details
- 7:30–8:00 AM — Arrival, registration and equipment fitting
- 8:00–8:30 AM — Safety briefing
- 8:30–10:30 AM — Snorkeling by boat or from the beach at the turtle site
- 10:30–11:00 AM — Return, rinse off and finish
- Snorkel mask, fins and life jacket
- An experienced snorkeling guide
- Drinking water and fruit/biscuits
- GoPro underwater photography & video (included with some packages)
- Swimwear and a towel
- Reef-safe sunscreen and sunglasses
- A change of clothes
- A waterproof/dry bag
- Do not touch or ride the turtles — this is strictly prohibited
- Keep a minimum distance of 1–2 meters from turtles at all times
- Non-swimmers can safely take part using a life jacket
